About INDIBA

Choosing
INDIBA.

Massage, warmth — and back to square one.
What mattered was warmth that reaches deeper.

INDIBA is a device that
warms you from within.

INDIBA is a radiofrequency thermal device developed in Barcelona, Spain. Rather than warming from the outside like a sauna or a hot stone bath, it works at a depth of roughly 6 to 12 cm, where warmth is generated by friction within the cells themselves.

This is known as Joule heating. The temperature inside the body rises by a few degrees, and that warmth lingers for a while after the treatment ends.

Its patented 0.448 MHz frequency is designed to reach deeper than conventional radiofrequency. At Cera, we build each treatment around this deep warmth, adjusting it to how your body is on the day.

Why warmth
from within matters.

Cold hands and feet, a heavy or puffy feeling, tension across the shoulders and neck, a dullness that never quite lifts — many people notice these more when the body has not been properly warmed.

Warming from the outside reaches the surface, but it is harder for that warmth to travel deeper. You may know the feeling — an onsen or a sauna feels wonderful, and yet before long the chill returns.

INDIBA's deep warmth works from the inside, reaching the foundations that surface care finds hard to touch. We wanted to spend time with the cold and the heaviness rather than simply cover them over — that is why Cera chose this technology.

Both sides show the same cross-section of the body (skin, fat, muscle, deeper layers). The orange line marks how deep the warmth reaches: shallow on the left for external heating, and reaching the deeper layers on the right for INDIBA. Vertical axis = depth (top = surface, bottom = deeper layers). The orange line shows how far the warmth reaches.
External heating tends to stay near the surface; INDIBA reaches the deeper layers.
This is a simplified illustration of the principle.

One study reported that skin temperature rose in areas treated with 0.448 MHz radiofrequency, and remained elevated for a period after the session ended.Kumaran B, Watson T., International Journal of Hyperthermia, 2015 (study in healthy participants)

How Cera
works with INDIBA.

The same device is used differently from salon to salon. What matters to us is not fitting you into a template, but designing each session around how your body is on that particular day. We call this our C³ Design.

Trusted
around the world.

INDIBA is used not only in beauty settings, but also in sports medicine, rehabilitation and animal care around the world. That breadth says a great deal about the technology.
